  1. Would very much like to see the Euro show something this afternoon. GFS is literally on an island with all this rain though the Nam does have some moisture the next few days).
  2. 12Z Op actually spins up a wave going right under us and makes tomorrow a soaking rain (1/4"to 1/2" LSV wide) and that is after some Mason-Dixon love today.
  3. And I was just concentrating on the OP and forecasts 7 days or less vs. ens.
  4. Unfortunately from what I have seen the GFS (Fv3) has really not done well during the last 3 months. Both being low on temps and way too high on qpf chances on average. I wish it had been more right. It is indeed MUCH wetter for all the southern tief of PA this week especially near the Mason-Dixon.
  5. Yea, I would have called it party cloudy over here yesterday. Sun was in for several hours.
  6. Off to slow start hear at 81. Only hit 94 here yesterday. Was surprised when I heard MDT hit 100.
  7. The heat wave for next week (starting the 26th) is indeed worse for the LSV than the one we are starting to come out of....on this AM's Euro. Also almost no rain during the whole 240 period (even for Voyager.)
  8. So this is a nice site. Shows water levels at testers in each county. A little slow to represent graphs when going back years. There must have been some fairly bad drought conditions in 2016 and 2017 per the charts as water levels were a good 10% lower then. However also shows waters levels (in Franklin) have dropped more drastically in the last year than anytime in the past since recording started in 2007. Interesting data. https://waterdata.usgs.gov/pa/nwis/current?type=gw
  9. Yea, we have folks getting brown water around here so the water table is regressing fast. Certainly not a drastic drought but fairly bad.
  10. 3K Nam has handled the Lake Erie storms well. Really wish they would make it down to us. Are you in the D1 drought area now? its close to you. In my back yard we are officially 10" below normal for rain counting May, June and July as of today. I lived through some of the terrible Florida droughts/wildfires and this is topping them all. Never thought I would see a double digit deficit over a 75 day period.
  11. Yea, the humidity there is relentless and it feels even worse there, to me, even if the humidity here is higher. But SO many people in Florida think I need to plow snow all year and stuff like that. They cannot believe that it gets hotter here than there.
  12. A little fun fact to go along with today...it has never reached 100 degrees in Tampa Florida. It rarely reaches 100 anywhere in Florida
  13. I was at Gifford Pinchot for lunch today. In the shade it was fine. Did not get in the water. Actually was not that busy. Thought of you but guessing if you went to the beach it was on the other side of the lake. Saw the walk around the lake is 9 miles!
  14. The HRRR has been on a roll under 24 hours. Last winter it sucked even in its wheelhouse.
  15. We are close to rock bottom counting 1/100th and 1/10th inch rainfalls. LOL.
  16. The yellows did die off. Pretty decent general rain but think we end up around 1/10" inch. Re: under trees its totally dry. Have about half that right now.
