The cold push seems to be less and less pronounced even if it is pushing this weeks precip south. We have had this discussion on here before but I think if we want a a major snow storm with temps in the teens it has to be a wound up situation where cold air is pulled back into a storm. If its 10 degrees for a high before a storm approaches its going to be hard to saturate that air.
I have more of a snow tv feeling this far south though could get a good start accumulating before daybreak. Like daxx just mentioned, round one of a potentially good stretch. (Or round 2 I guess if you could 6 days ago)
I was coming here to see if you posted any ob's from last night. We got about 1 to 1.5" over night. Crazy storm. Caused big travel issues over here this AM.
There was not one model in the last 48 hours that forecasted over 12" here and that was a Kuch. So I was not worried about a dry slot I was just model depicting. Ha. I do not have the time for fretting anymore but I like the science of discussion. Cashtown was the one that called my beatdown before it happened. South mountain oragrphics and all.
I have done it several time's today though I am listing my other place in Pen Mar, Md as an alternate location. I am at 16.5" now. Lightened up quite a bit.
