  1. You cannot see it in that shot but there is a departing High over the S/E Atlantic putting us in a S/W flow as well.
  2. Here is the Kuch map from Pivotal for the same period of the Nam. Pivotal maps do a better job at separating different frozen types like @Voyager mentioned.
  3. Definitely. I like TT's site better and the maps load faster when running through them (for me) but pivotals maps are more in reality as to snow.
  4. I have really grown to dislike those TT maps. LOL. You have to spend time investigating taint and such. But every map I saw was a good 7-10" or higher so even without clown totals just the law of averages would suggest someone could over perform more than 10% of the time.
  5. Blue Ridge was very icy last night but it never went below freezing here so the only ice I had was trash can topper/yard sign topper type. Its 35 right now. If you are familiar with Harbaugh Church Road I am located on the road that goes up to Pen Mar albeit it near the bottom of the incline.
  6. Those 10% chance high ends seem pretty low down here. I would think there is a 10% chance many here get a foot. Probably not but still 10%.
  7. Right now we are at 34 and plain rain and just a couple miles away/600 feet up its 29 heavy glazing on Blue Ridge Summit Right. That area is a living jackpot.
  8. Well they might not see the issue but everything is not fine. Sound like they need a refresher in IT service management. Lol.
  9. Your weather station is not updating at the interval I am used to seeing it.
  10. Full PA Wunderground DP map for those still in the FRZ zones
  11. Pretty much ditto here. 34/33 and rain. Was under a Winter Storm Watch yesterday and may get no winter weather.
  12. GFS keeps most of us out of regular rain. Not a big snow but mostly frozen.
  13. I am going to have to Deb and throw out this DP map and really question major Ice in Southern PA. Most people are nearly saturated and most DP's are in the 30's now. This is a DP map, FYI. Not air temp.
  14. Yea, 45 and dry would have taken less snow than that 35-40 and saturated day here. I think we lost 3-4".
  15. Yea, being a little farther west helped me score earlier. Cad in particular is terrible here and when SLP's come up from the S/W I cave to taint pretty quickly. You are also quite a bit father north than I am.
  16. I am being haunted by being on the other side of South Mountain. My valley is not a good one for weak CAD. We are down to less than 1/4 mile visibility. Snow pack killer today.
  17. LOL. I cannot even tell what the JMA is doing in the 24 hour jumps but 850 does look better.
