Nice! Eyeballing about 7” or so here in Skaneateles and looks awesome out with fine flakes falling and gusty winds. THIS is what a winter Saturday AM should look like up here!! Coffee and a good book!

6z GFS is a nice little synoptic event for Tuesday (top) and the follow up storm (bottom) is inching closer to us... An I-95 hit at this range is worth watching closely. How far NW will it climb?

Ended up just shy of 8”. Not a single model had more than 3” here as of this AM. Lake effect is so much fun!!

Haven’t measured again but we have to be nearing or over 6” in Skaneateles and it’s still ripping from time to time. Awesome over performer!

NAM is showing why thermal profiles will be an issue for the models. I think heavy enough DBZ it’ll start to mix in snow at air temps of like 40 degrees
