  1. I think it’s struggling with the capture/stall/occlude or quicker exit NE. If it’s the former bands could spiral out way. Can’t rule out some warm air advection snows too as the primary lows have gained more latitude and high pressure has been modeled too strong this season.
  2. There are many big hits for us in the 18z Euro indies.
  3. 18z EPS. don’t sleep on it yet. It’s trending back to a stalled and occluding low that spirals bands NW... Long shot but ya never know!
  4. Best ratios I’ve ever seen the last two hours. Just incredible.
  5. Ripping here in skaneateles. Most beautiful flakes I’ve ever seen! Crazy ratio stuff.
  6. Patience wins the long game. My strategy was eliminate all debt first. Best decision I ever made. There is no value you can place on peace of mind! (At least for me)
  7. Northern stream phases in late and explodes the precip field our way and then it stalls and occluded. Would be fun as hell!
  8. 4 years ago. We have a lake camp on Skaneateles but decided to make it full time and moved from NJ to the village. We have both now 15 minute apart versus 4 hours and we get SNOW!
  9. This place is so much more level headed than I’m used to. Don’t have to bullseye on every model every time to avoid meltdowns! Love it!
  10. Remember. I’m from Monmouth County and NW NJ. I know the drill. .....and now I’m here! lol
  11. Toss ‘em baby!!! And an l-95 meltdown to accompany it...
  12. We had a lot of Snow/Graupel mix here in Skaneateles the last hour or so. About 3” here before the snizzle. Exactly what I expected. Now rooting for the backend...
  13. I’m under it in skaneateles. It’s a mix of snizzly everything
  14. The heavier rates will flip a lot of us to only snow.
  15. Classic thump to snizzle storm. 3-4”. Dry slot with some crusty snizzle on the top. 1/2” of backside snow to whiten it back up.
  16. The 6” plus section looks like the back half of a sand tiger shark.
  17. Interesting. If the Feb 1 storm delivers - especially with the cold hanging onto the current pack plus tomorrow - flooding may be a legit concern.
  18. RGEM at 10:1 -not bad. This event always had a low ceiling so a nice snowy day works.
  19. Ripping again in Skaneateles. Today is exactly one of the reasons I moved up here. Just awesome.
  20. Pretty similar to 6z just a tad weaker. It’s a 2-4” thingy really.
