  1. If it's anything like the thunder squall that came through here with the mid-Nov cold shot that would be pretty cool.
  2. Seems like CMC develops that low much further SE than other guidance but still taints eastern areas
  3. Looks like GFS gives some parting shots at frozen on Wednesay AM and another little burst at night. Not much but it's something.
  4. Measured around 6.5-7" IMBY yesterday AM but the ensuing hours of sleet and wind knocked in back a bit. Measuring earlier this afternoon it was around 6" of very dense pack. Hope it holds through the mild up. 0F
  5. Down to 5F...looks and feels like deep winter. What a sleet fest today. As someone in the forum said it's like shoveling sand.
  6. Seems like that high needs to move a little further east and we might get the cold "drains from Maine" to help stave off to much warmth
  7. I guess intellicast.com map site got re-branded and pulled into weather underground. Intellicast radar was ok but the wunderground radar is crap. Can't get it to keep settings, radar stops and then won't restart. Anyone have a suggestion for a good, free, radar site?
  8. Enjoy the festivities. Looks like an interesting event to analyze this weekend and lots of potential in the coming weeks.
  9. Is this the reverse psychology thread? If we expect the worst, we end up with epicosity. Sign me up.
  10. Watching daughter and friend skating at Puddle Dock rink in PSM. Pretty comfortable sitting outside with a couple layers on. At least skating conditions have been good with the lack of snow. Gonna be a mess here tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  11. This rain can't end soon enough. My basement sump can't handle any more work this season. Hopefully we transition to more frozen vs. wet over the next few weeks.
  12. Grew up skiing Saddleback from the 80's to early 90's. Hope they can pull it off. Would be great to bring my daughter there some day.
  13. I have a distinct memory of a report on NBC nightly news from some time in the 80s where they said Mount Washington recorded a wind chill of -200. I'd have to think the -107 is more likely but maybe I'll try to find it in the archives somewhere.
  14. I'm afraid if I go snow blow now that band just to the west is going to drop another 6 before morning. Seems like it wants to slowly come east. 30F, light-mod snow
  15. Starting to feel effects of that band pivoting in from offshore. Down to 29F
  16. Would like to just have one 12+ event this winter. We came close in the last event but too much rain at the onset. Thinking this is the last chance but I like my chances this morning.
