  1. Pretty blah out there now with clouds and 70F. Thought today would have ended up the better day this weekend.
  2. Downpours training in from the ocean for a while now...wish I had a decent rain gauge...piling up fast out there
  3. Spoke in the wheel formed to the southeast and rotated in...been pouring for about an hour now. Looks to continue but please no basement flooding.
  4. 67, breezy and cloudy. Seems like we're the pivot point of this thing...nothing of consequence since a brief downpour yesterday afternoon.
  5. Maybe not totally surprising the NNE is getting the big heat when northern Siberia is putting up 100s.
  6. 68F and looks like the ocean is trying to reassert itself with clouds starting to fill in .
  7. Things are popping up to my north .
  8. Having an AC company coming on Wednesday to give us an estimate on a mini-split installation. Done with the window units (still haven't installed yet). Now watch us get it in and not have to run it once.
  9. Parts of lawn have turned to dry hay where it's exposed to full sun. Doesn't look like any relief for a while. I expect we'll snap back the other way once tropics heat up again.
  10. Beautiful 66F and breezy today. Let's hold off the HHH for as long as possible.
  11. Pool time with the kid earlier...got out just before the thunder started. Lawn is parched and just getting a quick shower now...barely enough to dampen the ground. This is mid-summer dryness around here the past couple of weeks. If EC is right things might flip after next week but looks dry until then.
  12. Yeah 52f here. Will need that sweater soon as I watch my spareribs on the grill. .
  13. Well, technically it will be over because it'll be March.
  14. Looks like a photographic negative of what we usually have to deal with this time of year.
  15. Wow, wish I made the ride up to the family place in Lakeville...11 inches as of 8PM.
  16. 36F after 10am on May 9. Some flakes still flying but main snow band has moved out.
  17. Welcome to UK climate?
  18. Been chasing faux storms for almost 6 months now. At least the cold and squally conditions keeps it somewhat interesting...nothing worse than doldrums for weeks on end.
  19. Some flakes here this morning. Perhaps the last until next season (I hope).
  20. I enjoyed Boardwalk Empire and currently watching Peaky Blinders if you like "period" gang dramas.
