I can recall going to the shore (seacoast NH) in December of '89 and seeing ice building up along the rocks where waves were causing freezing spray that had built up quite a bit. I don't remember there being a lot of snow but it was persistently cold.

1.55" and counting but won't be any water issues here. Winds not that impressive. Even Isles of Shoals didn't look like they went much over 40 earlier this evening.
On the board with 1.5" today. Looks like interesting times ahead in the models. Hoping most of the QPF stays west this week but love me a good windstorm so bring it on. Tuesday looking pretty cold now.
