I remember visiting the Admiral Peary Museum of arctic exploration at Bowdoin some time back in the early 90s. Just made me think of how crazy those people were trying to get to the North Pole, let alone the South Pole, with such low-tech equipment.
Good to see models at least showing classic nor'easters developing, whether they appear is TBD. Feels like those have been scarce the past couple of years.
Things are definitely accelerating color-wise even along the coast. Nothing in full "bloom" but the edges are getting pretty vibrant in the maples. Oaks around here seem like they're going to reddish-brown already which I assume is drought-related more than anything.
