Probably the best icing event we had in a while. It's usually good picture taking at sunrise tomorrow with the trees and everything coated... 28F/ZR

Getting waves of freezing rain at this point. Moderate then slows up and then back to moderate, no sleet at all, 28f.

Yep, I think he died on Christmas this past year...

30s, you're still good to go. 40s, 50/50, you'll question yourself. 50s, something local or stay home and watch it on the big screen, maybe BBQ....

If possible,I would definitely do the parade thing. Some people act like idiots at night. Daytime a little more relaxed with the parade. Don't get me wrong, still drunk but it's not night.

Hurts over 24.5yrds seems like a lock. He's going to do everything in his power to win. Running, diving, plowing into people...everything.
-
Things tapered down, freezing drizzle, 28f

Wait till you turn 50 plus, you'll avoid that like a plague. But I understand if you wanted to experience it at least once. I did the New Year's Eve times square thing in my 30s and never again. Totally overhyped.

I knew it will be Barkleys and De Jeans birthdays tomorrow for the Super bowl. But I didn't know their jersey numbers combined, Barkley, 26 and the DeJean,33 is 59. Appropriate for Super Bowl LIX...stars are aligning just right.

Better off going to a moderate size local sports bar. Less expensive and a better vibe. You couldn't pay me to go to a Philly bar tomorrow night. Jammed pack, expensive and there will be assholes in the crowd. If lucky, a shooting will occur...

Not going to happen but if this changed to snow and we received 2 inches roads would be a disaster, snow on ice. Freezing rain entering heavy mode...

Moderate freezing rain, no sleet. 28F

Believe it or not, Mahomes only has 4 double digit losses in his entire career including playoffs so winning by two scores would be quite an accomplishment...
-
Back home, moderate sleet starting to accumulate on roads. Pavements slick... 29F

I'm out driving now. Roads are just wet, not slippery at all. Sidewalks a glaze and such but it's coming down pretty hard right now. More sleet mixing in... 29F

Saw a bunch of geese today (50+)...the black and gray ones, pecking into a field of grass. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing? Are they pecking because bad weather is coming (freeze, snow) or are they pecking because spring is right around the corner? 31F/Cloudy

Literally, the only way it could be worse than Thursday is if nothing fell at all. There was no snow, limited sleet and freezing rain that didn't really freeze on thursday. A real non-event. They are going way overboard laying down salt in parking lots this afternoon. I mean way over..no need. 32F/Cloudy

The NFL will go to 18 games and they may add another bye. Pretty much we may come to the day where it's the Super bowl and a week later pitchers and catchers report. Also throw in March madness with the transition... 32F/Lowering clouds

A library is a quiet place to mooch free internet, download movies off torrent sites, update programs on phone and laptop and stream. They may have books, I'm not sure... She was a 6.273954329/10 32F

At the library, a Jehovah witness left me her card. I fully expect a overperformer tonight...possibly biblical. 30F/ Overcast

It's got to be better snow wise than Thursday I would think? I didn't receive squat in snow on Thursday. A inch or more would be a bonus today then maybe a couple hours of sleet. My expectations aren't too high...
-
I'm going with less than an inch of snow then crap fest. Most times these things change over faster than predicted... 30F

I've been on this board, back then Eastern weather, for over 20 years. Those long-term, 300 hour models rarely pan out, maybe once in a blue moon. Should have a thread for 5 days and in threats. Then once we get within 2 days or so create a thread for that event. And create a thread for long-term weenie threats which I would look at here and there but certainly not pay close attention to the event draws near. Long-term threats in the current ops is silly and clogs everything up for nothing because they usually fail. Basically take one storm at a time...
