  1. Been there many times for performances. Some big gusts the last few minutes. But not sustained yet.
  2. Hi! Light rain at the moment but I’m certainly intrigued with the radar. Solid look for April 1.
  3. Jeez…I had to stop watching when it was 10-4 and then I peak at it when it was B9 and had a freak out.
  4. In the metro areas? This month will be AN without doubt.
  5. Dude, been there (as a coach). Best part is when people still ignore your prediction because “my app says…” and so you still have to drive 30+ minutes to personally attend the rainout.
  6. +1.8-2.9F at the 3 airports as of yesterday.
  7. With super-mega-Nino coming? Oh yeah, it’s a near-lock globally.
  8. Remember when this month was going to be cooler than normal?
  9. Appears the CFS is predicting a high level of underwater volcanic activity this year. Didn’t know it could do that.
  10. Nearby PWS says 0.62”. Usually runs a little low, particularly with heavy rain like we just had, but almost certainly under 0.7” total. It’s a nice event, but March will be the 3rd drier than normal month in a row. Hopefully we get some Nino precip help come May-July.
  11. This line is nice but it’s lasting 30mins instead of 3-4 hours
  12. Not going to be close to 1”.
  13. More than the direct warming from Hunga-Tonga, the water vapor getting into the winter stratospheric polar vortex will on balance tend to strengthen it. We already saw that in the southern hemisphere last year, with record cold winter vortex temps.
  14. Looks like aurora were visible at our latitude last night if you could somehow avoid clouds and city lights. Several posts on Twitter with pictures from Shenandoah.
  15. It better rain as much as advertised. Anything less than 1” and I’m calling another dry bust.
