  1. 16z hrrr a bit better. Can see a boundary in northern MD is the focus for convection on radar.
  2. Not sure what it takes to get organized convection in these parts. I’m gonna puke seeing another day of random airmass pop ups.
  3. Gonna kick puppies if 3k verifies. Hrrr looks like crap. Sigh…
  4. Tomorrow looks better than today in terms of widespread storms. I haven’t looked closely, but guidance depiction seems disappointing given tons of heat and humidity and a shortwave and surface low to our northwest. Seems like it should be a slam dunk combination.
  5. BWI tied record for 7 100F+ highs for the year. Do we set the record?
  6. September 2020 was slightly below normal and we had some cool days. But yeah, most September’s lately have been torches to one degree or another.
  7. 12z mesos for tomorrow: 3k: organized line 12k: nothing? hrrr: blobs FV3 hires: broken line
  8. Home stretch of hell season. Gonna be a pumpkin spice volcano in my house when we get that first September cold front
  9. Missed just east twice and now going to get fringed just west. I love playing "watch the blobs".
  10. Swing and a miss for Blob 1. Maybe Blob 2.
  11. Under wins, but I beat you. Raindrops circled.
  12. Guidance looking good for Friday-Sunday
  13. Soto a bit interesting. But motto seems to have been quantity over quality
  14. Interesting. I’d rather have another bullpen arm, but I get it.
  15. Line is kinda closing the gap, but looks like crap for DC beltway area. Maybe it gets its shit together for those of us north of DC.
  16. 18z 3k NAM and 18z hrrr don’t really close it. Looks like 19z hrrr tries?
  17. Yeah I don’t love current radar
  18. Team control makes the most sense. I’m very skeptical they trade him.
  19. Yeah it’s meh. But calling up Vavra instead of Mayo? Seriously??
  20. 15z hrrr was awful for both. 16z much better for both. But for us, but not the whole area.
