Gfs still has 1-2”!

I’m at about 1.5” for July. Things still mostly green but things will get crispy quick with 100F heat and limited rain.

Ggem and euro suddenly look way less impressive for rainfall next week. Gfs still pretty wet. That’s never a fair fight. Going to get pretty toasty IMBY after the next 3-4 days if we fail on rain.

Rain chances for tomorrow look paltry. Looked solid a couple days ago. Front timing earlier in the day seems to be the big culprit.

I’m jealous! Saw ISS, Jupiter, and Saturn but could not find the comet. Some low clouds on the horizon and light pollution probably were the reason why.

I’m not an expert, but I think it’s more than just that that’s caused changes. I think a big reduction in coal power plants from the Midwest has been part of it too.

I think even with the paved area, it’s a small effect or no effect in many circumstances. Thanks for the reminder that LWX did review it.

I think they have a point with BWI. It did get a new area near the ASOS paved just over a year ago. Berk definitely is a “skeptic”. I think Pann used to be at least but seems more open minded. Tom Tasselmeyer is the one that’s disappointed me. Check his “Likes” on Twitter. Yikes.
