  1. Latest hrrr gets storms in around 9-10pm, which is the earliest I’ve seen. But I’m feeling pretty good for some action overnight given the radar look and mesos getting more bullish.
  2. Radar seems ahead of both NAM and Hrrr regarding storm formation.
  3. Slight 7" difference in rain totals for CHO area.
  4. I'll take the 6z 3k NAM for this evening please.
  5. Euro is a bit drier for the next 2 days vs the GFS and GGEM, but soaks us all late weekend until early next week. Areawide 1.5-3" total counting this week.
  6. Gfs and GGEM have some good rainfall this week with the frontal passage. Euro is much less impressed. May be due to the timing of FROPA. Gfs has it Wednesday afternoon and evening, supporting storms. Ggem the same but 18-24 hrs later, while euro splits the difference so no instability Thursday morning.
  7. 0.75” from this evenings round. Over 2” on the month. Very nice start.
  8. Radar estimate of 4.5"+ in northern Harford County
  9. That’s some big ol’ fat rain as Forrest would say
  10. and wonder what happens when it collides with that boundary racing toward DC?
  11. Some good sized towers to my east and south
  12. Looks like you’re gonna get dumped on. Hopefully that train slides 20-30mi SE eventually
  13. Boundary of some kind visible on radar south of DC across the Potomac and moving northward.
  14. Juicy storms. Kevin Quinlan (@KevQuinlan) has already has 1.4” this afternoon in Frederick.
  15. 12z 3k NAM and 13z hrrr both have nice storm complexes moving east at 20-21z which mostly fall apart when they hit the corn dust over the corridor
  16. How did we have 1” differences?? And usually the PWS in my neighborhood runs a little low I think.
  17. Damn round 2 escalated quickly last night. Ended up with 1.4”! That’s after the first storm only dropped about 0.1”.
