Very interesting the EPS has emphatically liked NoVA and the classic snowy N/W spots in MD for days but the Ops haven’t ever really put a bullseye there. Ops more into south central PA back toward NYC lately. Don’t know what that means, but it’s been a pattern.

Low of 20F at BWI and only 24F at DCA lol. BWI hasn’t been in the teens yet this winter and DCAs record long 22+ streak continues.

It’s REALLY close. @mappy and @psuhoffman are huggin’. Its been very stubbornly north even when the regular GFS started shifting. Seems like a big jump this run.

Why am I excited for the model that gives me 16”?

18z RGEM has 9" in 3 hours at the end of the run just across the DE border from @CAPE and @JakkelWx lol I'm hugging hell out of it either way.

I usually don't pay much attention to ensembles at this point, but I'd expect (and hope) that the EPS has some big dogs in the mix.
