    Radar seems way more robust than the meso models have at this time.

    Check out LWX radar! Some big bird or bug colony left the top end of the Bay in Cecil County this morning.

    Is today the day for an old-fashioned N-S oriented long squall line? NAM stretches it from Albany to Richmond.

    Got a great view of that MoCo cell. Looks like another cell or two developing to the N of it. Curious what that outflow does when they collide.

    Gonna be close for us. Some of the storms are left movers.

    NAM 3k jumped onboard for storms today. It was very dry up to the 12z run. Gfs still very bullish.

    Got a nice view of Comet NEOWISE! Could barely make it out with my naked eye, but tail is clearly visible with binoculars.

    There’s quite a bit of common milkweed near our house along paths and in open space. Haven’t seen any monarch caterpillars or chrysalises. Haven’t seen many butterflies period this year.

    @BlizzardNole that’s awesome! What kind of milkweed is that? I’ve only seen 1 Monarch all year so far.

    Gfs still has 1-2”!

    I’m at about 1.5” for July. Things still mostly green but things will get crispy quick with 100F heat and limited rain.

    Ggem and euro suddenly look way less impressive for rainfall next week. Gfs still pretty wet. That’s never a fair fight. Going to get pretty toasty IMBY after the next 3-4 days if we fail on rain.

    Rain chances for tomorrow look paltry. Looked solid a couple days ago. Front timing earlier in the day seems to be the big culprit.
