12z NAM and latest hrrr both have a fairly coherent line moving south out of PA and through the metro area between 5-9pm.

Ggem takes remnants right over us Friday with 2” of rain or so. Gfs well north but we still get about 0.5”.

This week could be interesting. Definitely some heat and humidity around. But Back door cold front around Wednesday and Thursday. Then hopefully a fall-like front rolling through Friday or Saturday.

We deserve a really nice fall after the last 2 years. Maybe we’ll get lucky on that and have real fall weather start early even. Certainly would be nice for some hiking and outdoor activities.

Euro has the entire region, even approaching RIC, in the 50s at D10. GGEM more of a back door cold front. Gfs with the old school big Canadian high moving in from the Midwest.

Yup, was just going to post something similar. But models also seeing a healthy cold front late next week into the following weekend . Hopefully that breaks the back of summer for good.

Had a brief heavy shower. Local PWS recorded 0 which is wrong. Another nearby had 0.1” which is probably right. Very muggy out

18z gfs is a deluge for the whole area Sunday. Ggem fairly wet too.

Downright pleasant outside all of a sudden with a light breeze. Still pretty muggy, but feels decent.
