Based on @leesburg 04, @heavy_wx, and you and me, it’s clear there was some mix with a gradient N-S across the county. Meso models yesterday showed that in the 8-9z time. I’m glad I slept through it. Maybe I can get to 4” with the final bands.
Just saw a 5.8” spotter report from Sykesville and 4.5” in Elliott City. I think I probably mixed a bit and missed out on a couple hours of accumulation.
Measured 2.8” at 2am and another 0.7” now for a 3.5” total. Kinda surprised I didn’t get more in the early morning given how radar looked. So maybe there was some mix? Very pretty out either way. 31F.
925 and 850 stay below zero in DC going by the 6hr panels at least. Maybe it sneaks warmer near 8-9z when the NAM and RGEM had the mix line reach its northernmost point, but I can’t tell. Solid euro run for MD.
