  1. I haven't looked beyond today much yet, but seems like we're probably going to be busy for a couple weeks at least. Much of our snow often comes in bunches and relatively short periods, so it wouldn't be crazy.
  2. We've definitely had a little bad luck. Still have very slowly tacked up 6"+. I called 8-12" for us on Saturday and 6" was my bar for acceptable. So we got there, even if it was a struggle. What's for sure is that my Jebwalk timing has been terrible. Each time it's started snowing well and I've gotten outside for a walk, it's tapered off quickly lol.
  3. Need to look at some maps in more detail. Surely something like this has been off and on the guidance for days so it’s not a total surprise.
  4. DC bullseye today. I’m in a bit of a lull and can see a brighter part of the sky in the east. Waiting for the stuff over Baltimore county to rotate through. Winter wonderland outside!
  5. Apparently I can’t add any more reactions today but wanted to say that’s gorgeous! I’d buy a print of that!
  6. Holy shit! It’s a Groundhog Day miracle!!! Just measured a fresh 1” on the snowboard since 7pm yesterday and it’s coming down! Dendrites! Fluff! Not sand!!
  7. Haven’t seen a spotter report from DC in awhile. DCA reported 2.5”, so not crazy that you’d be in the 3-4” range.
  8. Based on spotter reports, 4” contour is probably northern AA county west to somewhere near the 495-270 junction then over to IAD area. 10” from your area through a chunk of northern Frederick, Washington, then maybe cuts south near the Blue Ridge into WV.
  9. At least with BWI over 4” for the storm, we’ll have a good chunk of the area painted in the “4-10”” range in the future NESIS map of this storm. Better than the 1-4” aka the participation trophy of KU snowstorms.
  10. Made my spotter report of 4.7” total, 0.8” today.
  11. Weenie casting a bit, but you might see those weaker bands to the east/northeast strengthen as they move west into this better/moister atmosphere?
  12. @Scraff have you had Brookeville Beer Farm? Just cracked open their IPA. Pretty tasty.
  13. 0.5” fresh today. Megaband hopped around me and back to my standard snizzle. Glad the DC crew are getting some action.
  14. Radar looks good for NE corner of 495. Sort of hopped over me
  15. It's subsidence behind this band. Have to see what else can rotate through.
  16. Thanks friend. Feeling cautiously optimistic...
  17. That's expected. Still looks like it will get here, and probably with mod-heavy snow. Enjoy what falls. Today shouldn't be a total dud as we feared could happen.
  18. Heavy snow in Bel Air per my parents (which we already knew)
  19. PHL and DOV radars lit up like Xmas trees. Certainly no lacking in precip. Just need to see how much can rotate southwest.
