I think there’s something to that and I don’t totally disagree. But still want some warm day/cool nights with low humidity type of fall weather. That would still average AN as well.

I’m still optimistic this could be a good foliage year, but have to see how the next 10-14 days impact things. Early maple color in particular is nice and bright.

Yeah. Even if we have high latitude blocking, it’s going to be fighting against a hostile PAC. That’s a losing battle for us more often than not.

Definitely some color starting to show around me. Maples, sassafras, sycamore, and walnuts mostly it seems. I’m cautiously optimistic this could be a good year for foliage based on what I see so far. Hope we don’t get too much rain and keep some cool nights going.
