  1. I’m going to aerate on Saturday morning and I was going to immediately overseed. But probably should wait until rain is in the forecast for the seeding? I can’t do the sprinkler on my whole yard for days afterwards…
  2. Might be a dry FROPA on Saturday at this rate…time to bump the drought thread?
  3. Ha, we had to leave anyway to get our daughter from her activity. But Blech…that wasn’t how I thought this would go
  4. Friend gave me tix to tonight’s O’s game. Won’t be able to stay the whole game, but great night for a sweep!
  5. Quick Look at gfs H5 suggests a faster northern stream s/w with less dig. Get used to that sentence for the next 7 months…
  6. Povich passed this test
  7. Friday-Saturday rain potential diminishing
  8. Yeah I’m a bit nervous about Povich tonight. But if he can’t get outs against the 2024 CWS…??
  9. Wife and I went kayaking this morning. Beautiful breeze and lowering humidity.
  10. Offense has been pedestrian since late June. Adley is in a major long term slump and Gunnar is merely a good hitter instead of an MVP candidate. Santander has slowed down after his super hot June-early August. Today is as must win as a non divisional game in early September can be.
  11. All 3 globals have a heavy synoptic rain event on Friday with a low on the coast getting pulled into a front coming in from the Midwest. Then another early fall airmass behind it.
  12. 5 of 6 was my mark as well. Looks like they’re about to spend their 1 loss already…
  13. Bring it home man. Can’t be losing to this team.
  14. Got a little something. Now it’s all falling apart.
  15. WVU stadium emptied with the storms going through there now. Waiting for the game to restart…
  16. Some boundary moving in quickly from the NW on radar.
  17. Somewhere about that for me as well. Congrats to droughty areas of NoVA.
  18. Heavy precip/FF meso out: https://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/metwatch/metwatch_mpd_multi.php?md=947&yr=2024
  19. They did, although they also underestimated activity in MD this evening before a line potentially pushes through later.
  20. All dies once it starts moving east. Typical.
  21. Sprinkling and thundering in Ellicott City. Baseball coaches pretending not to hear it.
