Agreed. Could be a snowier outcome but still need a bigger push of cold air and probably a more distinct second wave that keeps precip going after the cold air gets in.
1/28-29: 1.2"
Season to date: 14.8"
I've exceeded all the winter-total snowfall numbers from what I consider the "bad" or "disappointing" years. So that's nice. 2.3" to go to beat last winter. Feeling good about that.

1.5” BWI

Some nice totals from southern PG, AA, Charles, Calvert, and St Mary’s counties. General 3-6”.
Yup, it was the lack of precip that hurt us. Even with the crappy snow crystal growth and marginal temps in the afternoon and evening. We all knew there could be banding yesterday evening but we often forget that areas outside the band can suffer significantly. Some 4-6” reports from southern MD west of the Bay, so that band did crank.
0.8”. Added 0.1” during my Jebwalk but it’s lightened up again. Probably need 2 more hours of this to get to 1”. Going to be close. I’m going to bed and dreaming that I get clipped by a rogue outer band from the coastal.
