  1. Not endangered per the US gov’t. It was a private organization. I haven’t seen any caterpillars yet though. Saw one adult the other day which was the first of the season for me. My milkweed hasn’t grown as well this year and the milkweed bugs got to it already so I’m not sure if I’ll have many.
  2. Tommy always has an agenda when he points out these little comparisons though. High at BWI yesterday was 92 and 90 at my house. Meade often runs noticeably cooler for whatever reason.
  3. I think that paving has made a difference, but it’s a fairly small impact and it’s still damn hot.
  4. Don’t have your AC break in summer

    Winter 2022-23

2010-11 for MBY (all that matters) was a bit above median and a bit below average snowfall. Which has been quite typical for MOST (but not all for sure) Ninas since I moved back to MD.
  6. Did you hear it was chilly in Alaska!?!?
  7. Rain and nighttime, Tom. It’s not a conspiracy.
  8. About 0.4”. Something I guess, but probably not enough to prevent things from baking the next 7-10 days.
  9. Shelf cloud along the BW Parkway as I’m driving home.
  10. For me too. Keep hoping for one of those popcorn showers ahead of the line to hit MBY
  11. see you in the drought thread
  12. Hrrr and NAM both say those storms out near the Blue Ridge vaporize at the Potomac later this evening. Hope they make it east.
  13. 72F dew point go back to hell
  14. Congrats DC and Rt 50 corridor. I’ll be in the drought thread if you need me.
  15. Gullywasher where I was along I70. A little at home.
  16. That sucks, sorry Zen man.
  17. A beautiful old oak tree on Goddard came down in yesterdays storm.
