  1. Just stopping by to remark on JB’s addled brain now blaming warming temps on subaqueous volcanoes
  2. Let’s please not get in the habit of posting CFS snowmaps.
  3. Wraparound snows in early November. Always a lock.
  4. Wow, that was not a score I expected to wake up to! Obviously I watched the really awful half of that game.
  5. They’re not even hot garbage. Ice cold garbage.
  6. Ravens already have me rolling my eyes
  7. Hope so! I don’t mind a warm November (assuming it flips in mid-December), but I am mildly annoyed how late the first freeze will probably be now.
  8. What you really don’t want to see in DJF:
  9. 60F damp and dreary. Christmas preview??
  10. Weather looks intensely boring for probably 10 days, but some signs of a big storm crossing the country late next week.
  11. This is awesome! Excellent work!
  12. Congrats Phillies fans! I’m rooting for them.
  13. Ravens fans love to complain about the refs giving away games, but they gifted the ravens that win today. Fantasy false start on the FG attempt prevented what should have/would have been a browns first down with plenty of time left. I can guess where that would have ended up.
  14. Drive from DCL back home and up to Bel Air today. Garrett county is past peak while Allegany and most of Washington are at peak. Worst color was near Frederick actually. Parrs Ridge was at peak and most of HoCo still not there. Eastern Baltimore county and Harford counties also seemed at peak.
  15. The good news is we’re charging up our source region
  16. Wow, a late save. I’m still going to miss badly at BWI now.
  17. My chances of winning the contest just imploded
  18. Beautiful Deep Creek Lake
  19. Last week the coldest air of this airmass was more focused toward us. It ultimately got oriented more southward and we got scraps. Still pretty surprised if not even IAD gets a freeze our lot of this.
  20. 32.7 for the low IMBY. Coldest of the season so far.
  21. Question for @nj2va, @IronTy, and anyone else with good DCL knowledge: want to do a (very large) family walk/hike on Friday. Would Swallow Falls SP be the best place for this? With some of the better scenery and colors? We need something fairly level with a clear path given we'll have ages of 4-71 on this walk. Thanks!
  22. Freeze warning tonight for MBY
