  1. Right. If you pick this months chart for each airport, it shows the daily departure right next to the high and low.
  2. Are you sure? I see that for BWI, but it looks like IAD has had 3 technically and DCA 1. Although each of those is really weak sauce.
  3. Unfortunately the euro doesn’t agree with the Hrrr and sends that overrunning finger into central PA.
  4. Watching the ravens was also like getting a root canal, speaking as a loyal fan
  5. Congrats dude. They are a really good team that i’d strongly not be in the afc north. I’d say they’re the favorite right now, even in KC.
  6. Maybe 2-3 more legit receivers…
  7. MacDonald definitely figured out the bengals
  8. Our cat is enjoying the fire
  9. Euro control arctic blasts and record lows in Siberia. JB must be getting tingly.
  10. Maybe I accidently bombed the old thread? Something weird happened when I was deleting one of Chuck’s posts.
  11. There was 80” of snow NW of the cities with that lake effect event last month!
  12. @psuhoffman re: why the pac is bad, you have to consider the -PDO. We had a very favorable PDO during our 09-10 through 15-16 winters. There were news stories about the “ridiculously resilient ridge” and associated west coast drought and ocean ecosystem impacts. Now that’s flipped and a -PNA is favored by that alone.
  13. 0z euro was also fairly snowy, especially for the M/D line crew. And it’s close to being a decent front end for everyone. Euro sends the bulk of the WAA precip north of us into southern PA. If that could be a more flush hit there’s a legit chance of a 1-3” type front end.
  14. We are coordinating with a contractor for a bathroom renovation. Partial DIY. He’ll do the tub and surround and I’ll do the rest. I did a DIY renovation of our half bath last spring and am mostly satisfied with it.
  15. In general, a farther cut west can sometimes work for a better front end if there’s more confluence over NE and we can get enough precipitation overrunning the warm front. Trick is the precip comes with the WAA, so there’s a balance there when our airmass is eternally marginal. But maybe that’s what the GEPS is keying on.
  16. Interesting the GEPS likes midweek because the 12z GGEM finally loaded and cuts it west of Detroit. I think there’s still some hope for front end slop from that, but nothing more. Any substantial frozen-dominant system has to wait until after.
  17. Even NCEP doesn’t want to overwrite that gorgeous D13 happy hour MECS
