  1. Seems like this is going to end up as a repeat of our Feb 21 storm...8-12" of snow forecast, 3-4" of slop and sleet instead.
  2. We can all complain about the new snow belts but radars like this is why we love living here
  3. Agree. I was out Cross county skiing with my dog for the 2 hours when this hit. My parents almost called 911 because they were worried I was lost. It was an amazing experience being out when literally 5" of snow falls in an hour
  4. Lets just go for record low snowfall at this point...save all the snow days this winter so we can get extra days off in Memorial day when it starts snowing.
  5. Merry Christmas Eve! Certainly looks festive in Skaneateles!
  6. Probably a quick jaunt up 81 and I could still get to a winter wonderland. In Liverpool it turned at about noon. Can still see the grass - and damn it's still waterlogged.
  7. Channel 9 got burned on a bunch of these type events last year where models showed snow then it ended up raining most of the time and we were lucky to get 2-4" of slop. I get the feeling this will bump north at game time and we'll be in rain.
  8. I enjoyed the mood snows all day today. While it didn't add up to much, just walking outside while it snowed quietly all day was really pleasant. Some people on this forum need to remember to get outside and actually enjoy this thing we're talking about on here. It was a pleasant winter day out there with constant snow! Not bad for November...
  9. The wind is something else today. Almost looks like lake effect off Oneida lol
  10. 2016..and I believe 2018 were blockbuster around this time. 2016 before Thanksgiving we ended up with like 30" of snow
  11. What? It was picture perfect this weekend. Full sun and perfect fall days. Also cool moon tonight
  12. Feb 15 was actually quite the anamoly. Coldest month ever in Syracuse. We got snow pretty much every day and at one point had over 25 inch snowpack for weeks. Quite memorable and cold
  13. In mid-August 2005 we tent camped with my parents in the mountains in Jasper National Park in Alberta. We had rain all day and went to our campsite at about 6000' where it turned to straight up slush snow. First time experiencing snow in August - awesome experience...for me at least. Not sure everyone else in camp appreciated it lol
  14. It's nuts, but then again we've been warned about this for decades now. Heading to Iceland next week for the 2nd time in 5 years. Should probably enjoy those glaciers before they're gone too.
  15. Been amazing weather. Could use some rain, streams for fishing have been at mid-summer flow.
  16. My girl and I just got back from Costa Rica. We flew Delta out of SYR. Tickets were great and Covid protocols well adhered to. Costa rica was beautiful with everything open and all the locals and most tourist wearing masks. Did have to buy travel insurance to get in the country (about $40pp) and take a covid test on way back for entry into the US (about $100). Felt nice to itch that travel scratch again.
  17. Totally agree. Got a few days skiing in Vermont last week, conditions were great and it was awesome seeing and having this pack for a good month or so and not having to worry about it melting every few days. Snowmobilers have been loving it too.
  18. WSB told me to hold my 12.25 shares until they are worth least 1K each. Even now has been a healthy profit from an initial $200 investment. They're pimping BB and NOK now too. It's like 1998 all over again...
  19. And you cancelled last summer in May and we saw how that turned out...
  20. You're such a clown. Glad Trump won in a landslide so bigly just like you told us he would. Save your Trump flag for when coke snorting Jr. runs in 4 years.
  21. Damn, I came here just to see if you were posting 500:1 Kuchera maps yet.
