    It’s still crazy to me how we got Feb 2015 and Dec 2015 in the same year. Record cold in one winter month and the following winter month being so warm it’d rank among the warmest Novembers.

    Snowing moderately here in Milwaukee, winds picking up too. Not a fan, a lot of these people are surprisingly bad at driving in the snow. But it’s pretty.

    Greetings from Wisconsin, snow lovers (which I’m not). It’s been years since I’ve seen anything like this, this picture doesn’t even do it justice. I’ve never seen *old* snow clinging to the sides of trees, buildings, etc. until now. The car was, and still is, entombed in ice this morning from freezing rain and/or mixed precip overnight. Roads that were salty yesterday were iced over (or snowy in some areas) this morning. I’m just grateful I came this week and not last week when temps were much colder than anything I’ve experienced.

    Pressure peaked at 1030.8mb overnight yesterday and bottomed out at 981.4mb overnight today. Nearly a 50mb difference. 3.55 event total, rainfall rates peaked at just under 5” per hour in the squall line, in the dead of winter. Our climate is really living up to my username this decade.
