Rain to Snow obs for January 20th winter event

37F in KSQ still raining. Looks like a nothing burger here. Will see if they maybe still have to treat the roads with the temps falling all day. -
I know that's what I thought at first. No water marks anywhere, just the floor. Also the path of where it was leads me to believe the steam made water. Thanks! Hope your pile holds and we get pummeled this weekend. I'm at 37F and some grupel still coming down.

Anyone know how high the dew point got last night? I woke up to water on the floor this morning and I'm thinking I should have turned the humidifier off. At first I thought it came in the side window but I found no evidence of wetness on the window or wall so I think I am the one that caused it! It wasn't too bad but never had that happen before.

Ugh. No words for either. Weather and Birds!!! Maybe we get a stop here!!!??

I'm routing for option 3! #2 looking like a mess! Things could change though

Happy Belated Birthday Agnes! I am only a few months in to this decade and so far so good! If I remember '96 correctly it was a Sunday storm and the Birds were playing the boys. if that's the storm, I distinctly remember being out on Saturday and it was all over the radio that it was coming. When I got home I moved some things and backed the car in the garage. Still was time to prepare, so yeah a ridiculous thread. Mets get it right way more than wrong and actually just like football, adjustments are made as the game is being played.

January 7th First Snow for some N&W folks Discussion

Looking at the measurements on nws, public locations closet to me: Jennersville 3.3" New London Twp 4.0". If only could have had a longer duration event I could have had a work from home day. It was easy enough though, got my old self out there early. Just used a broom on the front walk. No accumulation on most of the front porch so i didn't have to clean that. Most definitely was between 3-4" on the car. Beautiful out there with the winds picking up and blowing it all around! -

UKMET looks awful. it will be interesting to see if/where the snow hole will occur. Putting expectations at 1-1.5" imby. -
Diving in. Huge difference in weather in this geography then up north. If anything I'd rather be merged with Mid Atlantic. If that's going to be a determining factor. Hasn't happened yet, and I don't see it. I like it here.

Pouring here and windy all day. Happy Halloween

This year I was hoping the first thing to hit those old storm windows was flakes ! Latest I recall taking the big ac out in a while. I’m older now so only clean them once per year. Fall works best so can open the blinds, let the sun hit that thermostat and save me some oil. Summer it’s dark in here to keep the heat out. It literally is the complete opposite of what we did growing up! just a small boomer went thru

Well. There goes my nice clean windows!

Low this morning of 46! Whoop Fall is here. Finally. Haven't tested the 'ol oil furnace yet.

Those last 2 "I" storms were bad for us. Had a fairly decent weekend down at the Bay. They had some flood gates opened at Coniwingo Fri and Sat but the debris wasn't too bad on the Elk, we were in the water Saturday afternoon. Sunday was a different story with regards to cloud cover, shower, and debris was worse than Saturday. I'll just leave this here to end of summer. Bring on Fall!
