  1. You knew we couldn't get through a winter w/o at least one major BUST.
  2. and just like that, i've flipped to sleet. snow over. Soon as it was approaching low-sun. smh.
  3. Same. Lost the decent rates about the same time ago. Drip, drip, drip. Hopefully, we can get get some good stuff later this afternoon / evening when the sun gets lower.
  4. Prove it. No way roads are getting covered in Ellicott City.
  5. You out 50 or 522? That is an area we are looking when we move (hopefully) next year. Ideally, we'd find a place somewhere on top of North Mountain, but there is isn't much up there. LOL. Elevation certainly helps, but conditions even in the valley improve north of Rt. 50. Wife works at the school board office on Amherst. I hear it every event.
  6. Winchester is usually the dividing line. Almost always get more precip, plus the cold north of it is just a bit stronger.
  7. Def not that heavy here, but enough that the grass is whitening a bit. Nothing on the roads or sidewalks. Certainly the cloud deck is thicker and it's noticeably less light out.
  8. Dude, it started snowing out here around 10AM. I think I'd know.
  9. I'm not posting thoughts on what might happen for you, I'm talking MBY. Good luck to you, but the storm has started, even if not for you, yet.
  10. Good luck. I think you can hit 4" out of this. Winterwxluvr too. And Wxtrix and WVCimo probably jackpot early. PSU jacks tonight, when it really counts.
  11. Temp down to 33F. A little bit of whitening in shaded spots, mulch, grass. But it's taken an hour of pretty good rates to accomplish even that. Unfortunate timing for this event. By the time night falls and the ground cools enough for some stickage, the good stuff will probably be over for me. 1 - 2 sloppy inches on some favorable surfaces, which has been my guess for the last couple days. North of Rt. 50 will do markedly better, as they always do.
  12. This only would've worked here at night. Sitting here listening to the water run down the outside gutters. Depressing, but expected.
  13. On my hands and knees trying to see if they make it to the ground.
  14. Snowing now at a decent clip. White rain. Not sure the flakes are even reaching the ground before melting.
  15. Yes. I've gone from 5 - 9 yesterday, to 3 - 5 with this morning's update. I'd wager that's not the last deduction either.
  16. Flurries and drizzle. Smattering of damp spots. 34/29
  17. You're right. Very negative mood ATM. Will refrain. Good luck to those who may see snow.
  18. Yep. There will be next to no accumulation south of Winchester. Typical March event.
  19. Yep, could just be plain rain and no snow at all.
