  1. My guess is whatever patter sets up is hot, humid, and -at least in MBY - dry.
  2. ^ not as much fun as watching cacti.
  3. Way over done. Got a .03" deluge. That total includes yesterday's goose egg.
  4. Shocked to find Octoberfest on the shelves last week! The 3rd week of July?? As much as I love it, that is just too soon. It's going the way of Christmas creep.
  5. Nothing yesterday. Multiple misses to the east and west.
  6. In myrtle right now. Just snapped this outside Gold's gym. Wicked looking.
  7. Wow, mby was very fortunate during this heatwave. Feel for all of you who didnt cash in.
  8. I'm in Carolina, but the wife said it was just heavy rain, not too much wind. Nearby PWS shows almost 1". Very nice 3-day total imby, close to 2.25".
  9. Amount of storms today is just insane. Multiple rounds, especially just to my ENE and south in Warren County. I see PWSs down there at 3".
  10. Another storm forming just to north and east. On the edge again. Lightning is crazy. ETA- Got in on the edge of the rain and picked up about another .2". Sitting at .75" today.
  11. Another storm blew up in the wake of the first. This one a flush hit, but still on the edge. Branches down, patio furniture blown off, and at least another .5". Sun shining for most of it. Lol. Grateful for the rain and cooling my roof. Temp knocked down to 78F.
  12. I'm right on the edge of rain. Got 5 minutes of wind blown rain. Ground wet, but not much. Ripping less than 1/4 mile away. Impressive to watch it form, but just barely too far west for this one.
  13. The great irony is that I will be in NC/SC this week and will miss the cool down. Ugh.
  14. Scored a nice t-storm. Nice surprise. Yard desperately needed the rain. In excess of .5". Temp knocked down to 78F. Caught a real nice break.
  15. Nah, just 5 months out of year.
  16. Split perfectly by 2 big batches of storms....one to my north, the other to my south. *sigh*
  17. I was in Maine too, from the 7th to the 12th! Temps in 40s on the 8th and 9th. Glorious. Daytime highs there practically what overnight lows are here. Localized warmth here quite plausible. Lucky me.
  18. Oh, I know, you were spot-on with your assessment of the precip distribution. I can still be bitter about it though OKV temps (which are below what I've had at MBY): 7/12: 86F 7/13: 88F 7/14: 91F 7/15: 90F 7/16: ?? According to Accuwx the avg. high is 86F.
