6Z is a really sweet run starting at 216hr. We are under d10 and the cool off is still there. If it's still there tomorrow, I might start to believe. Euro in support of the GFS too. Verbatim, there would be some frosty mornings likely in the d10 - d16 period.

Drought busted. Just like summer was 5 weeks ago.

Instead, you'll get 10 days of mid July heat without a drop of rain. But, maybe then we'll get some fall air. I suspect the models will back way off that strong cold front idea as we get closer.

From my lips to God's ears. 6z showed signs of breaking this heat at D10ish too. Some support from GEFS also. Maybe it's for real.

Yes, the heat at starting at 168 hr on the EPS and GFS looks even warmer than this weekend.

That will trend warmer as we get closer.

Man, 6Z was the worst GFS run yet. After a 30hr cool down to normal midweek, it's hideous through the rest of the run.

My definition of roasting is anything above 80F this time of year. Meh, what good does rain do us now? I like it dry beginning this time of year. Better for the fall colors as long as we get cool nights.

30" of rainfall is what I receive for an entire year, on a good year.
