  1. The radar was a thing of beauty for this one. Back building, intensifying storm that absolutely bullseyed my yard at the end. Man, I do not get those in July. This was an absolute treat. North of 1.5".
  2. Well, this one did not end in heartbreak.
  3. Storms forming to my SW. But I can already see one cell sliding up 81 just to my east, literally a 1/4 mile. This NE trajectory usually leads to heartbreak for me.
  4. Radar is very meh unless you're in PA.
  5. Our areas are almost carbon copies.
  6. .75" total from yesterday increases my July total to just under 1.25". Grass is noticeably greener this morning. Hoping like hell we can add something meaningful today or tomorrow.
  7. Got .65". Storm really stalled just to the east, just missed some more impressive totals. I've been w/o power since 3PM as the charged storm continued to throw down massive bolts.
  8. It took a trip to the the pool to end the 17-day storm drought here. This the most electrical storm I've seen in a long time. Huge lighting strikes.
  9. Truly bizarre the lack of sustaining any convection with this airmass. Have had some storms blow up nearby today then simply disintegrate into nothing. Another dropless day.
  10. I'll send you my PayPal ID. If it's not too much trouble, throw in a couple 6-packs.
  11. 91 / 79 and full sun (again). Near 80F dewpoints for days on end and not a drop of rain.
  12. Another miserable hot humid day. And WTF happened to the midweek cold front? Forecast is now low 90s everyday through Friday. I have a 5PM outdoor wedding in Bel Air on Thursday. Just wonderful.
  13. Less than 1/2" of rain since Jun 28.
  14. Seems we're working on a new drought. As expected, not a drop again.
  15. Yard getting crunchy. No meaningful rain since June 28.
  16. Last couple evenings have been pleasant. About 2 weeks from noticing the days shortening. Less than 3 weeks from NFL camps opening.
  17. I swear to God if today isn't the biggest kick in the nuts you could ever receive.
  18. Pouring in every direction and I'm in the middle without even a drop. Unreal.
  19. 4.7" for the month. Above normal, but it was all nickels and dimes. Largest event was .69".
  20. More storms to the northwest. Another shut-out in the books. The last few days have been classic Stephens City.
  21. Storms veering all around stephens city again today. 90 minutes of thunder so far. Not a drop of rain.
  22. Urban flooding in old Town winchester. Some crazy videos on Facebook. PWS shows 2".
