.32" from the first round and .64" from last night. Not much wind fortunately. Snow fell for about an hour last night with no accumulation. Mountains are white this morning though. Much needed rain, at least.

The radar looks a lot better than the ground truth here. We got moderate rain for about 15 minutes and light rain now. A couple rumbles of thunder. Sounds like the good stuff is to my southeast.

Wind. The only thing besides heat we can do out here.

I was in Indiana all week. But I can report exactly nothing here in stephens city again. At least we picked up .36" rain on Thursday and got a decent storm and .24" rain Wednesday. Even in mid-march the eastern crew still gets snow while we cannot.

No sense breaking the 10 year streak now.

Picked up .43" last evening. Taking some small bites out of the drought the last couple weeks.

12-5: 1.0" 1-1: T 1-25: 6.0" half of it sleet as the sleet line blasted through earlier than every location in the region. 11F sleet storm. 2-22: hours of non-accumulation 35F snow while a HECS hits the beaches yet again. 3-2: .3" Daytime snow that struggled to accumulate on grass and mulch despite temp dropping to 29F once snow started. Straight trash. Couple other Ts.... who fucking cares What an abomination of a winter and waste of cold. Total: 7.3" (25% of what used to be average)

This was 0 when I woke up. Radar showed a bit move through around 8:30 this morning. There was a specklung of ice on the windshield this morning. But it was mist at best overnight.

Got no precipitation overnight.

Not on my side of town. Grass is white and that's it. Maybe a 1/4". My guess is that spotter is east or north of town. When I left Kernstown (3 miles north) earlier there looked to be close to an inch on grassy surfaces and trees.

Well, try being positive living in Stephens City.
