  1. Actually it sleeted enough here to cover the ground.....visible in the shoveled sidewalk and patio.
  2. Light mist. 24F. Thin coating of glaze. Sidewalk and patio are skating rinks. Amazing to see the difference in snow cover. I've got 4+ snowpack and its just patchy in winchester....bare ground south of there. I'd be feeling very different about this winter if I still lived in stephens city, or front royal. As it stands, I've had snow cover since Jan 31. Haven't seen that personally since 2010, at least.
  3. Yeah, my location paid off. Its amazing the difference between here and in town. The stephens city peeps probably awoke to bare ground and a few sleet pellets on the wiper blades. But, darn, I want to see some heavy snow rates.
  4. 2.5". Snizzle continues. Underwhelmed. Another event with weak rates. But, it is snow where just 2 miles away it was sleet, and it is snow on snow, and pretty.
  5. Yeah. Most of us are gonna need it. Another forum divider, unfortunately.
  6. Sleet and rain mix turned to sleet a bit out 522N north of winchester, and to snow right at Shawnee springs Market. Not dendrites, but is snowing here. Ground is white and roads are covered. Night and day vs. Winchester.
  7. Hitting the grocery store on north end of winchester and it's a 50/50 mix of rain and sleet.
  8. Pouring rain now in winchester. Mixed with a little sleet.
  9. Well, if it's already turned to rain, I fail to see how it snows later with the warm push upstairs continuing . Hope I'm wrong and heavier rates somehow turn it back.....but not seeing how that happens with this setup. You know more about this than me, so .....
  10. Left work to find drizzle in winchester. Lol. And not freezing either. Great storm.
  11. Drove unto the office and already sleeting on south side of winchester .
  12. Yep. Snow moved out of here already.
  13. Yep, moderate snow now. 35F. I remember back when this was a cold storm.
  14. ridge to my SW getting quite obscured. heavier snow ready to commence.
  15. full on light snow now. wasted qpf.
  16. couple flurries falling. surprised it's frozen. feels warm outside. sure it will flip soon.
  17. Nice. You've got some good elevation there.
  18. Thanks! But turns out it wasn't my password....I was misspelling my Username when trying to log in. There is a space before NPZ. Lol. One of those days. I logged onto my weekly zoom for one of my project teams weekly meetings this morning and wondered where the team was....meeting is on Thursdays. The host saw that and let me know.
  19. Sorry, I've tried, but I forgot my site password and it doesn't recognize my email to recover the password. Totally confused about the email issue.
  20. Filtered sunshine. Good news is that it's a new moon, so no filtered moonlight tonight. That makes the light 32F drizzle more enjoyable.
  21. And the environment! Save the Bay!!
