  1. Those pics were crazy. What I can't figure out is how the wind snapped those utility poles like that, but I didn't see tree damage or damaged siding or roofs on the houses in those pics. Bizarre.
  2. Cool. We'll be able to compare weather obs. When do you expect to be done building?
  3. I'm on whitace rd. Just due NW of the lake.
  4. Over 1" yesterday for me. This seals a wall-to-wall green summer. Very Stark contrast to my previous 2 summers out here where everything was completely burned up by early summer. It actually got dry a bit before yesterday, but impressive storms took care of that.
  5. Caught some 50 mph gusts at the office in winchester. No hail. Looked more impressive than it was. Meanwhile at home....next to zilch. Passed just south.
  6. I see I got 0.00 back home this week. Lol.
  7. 2009 and 2014 are the gold standards for summer in these parts I think.
  8. Sorry, but temps in the 80s = summer.
  9. In MA this week. Cloudy, rainy, 65F today. Love it! 88F back home with a flood watch....and not a drop has fallen so far according to PWS.
  10. It is AMAZING outside. Unbeatable for summer.
  11. Had the pleasure of being out in Indy the first half of this week and brought this crap back home with me. Not a drop of rain out here this past week. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
  12. Nice evening last night. Crystal clear skies to veiw a beautiful Crescent Moon.
  13. The worst 3 months of the year are upon us. Dust-bowl season is here.
  14. Sat out from 1030 until almost 1 AM. Counted 12 in total, including 1 orange fireball so bright I could see it's smoky tail and watched it break up. It may have been the best meteor I've ever seen.
  15. Not a drop this weekend. Summer has officially started.
  16. Perfect weather. Morning frost and comfortable afternoon....without wind. Oh, if only this could last.
  17. Holy crap. That radar loop is the stuff of wet dreams...literally. Such a shame this wasn't 3 months ago, we might have had our 1996 redux. I'm almost at 2" since midnight!!
  18. Agree about the wind. It has been incessant since February out here. It only changes directions.
  19. I'm hoping for one last measurable snow! Hopefully in May.
  20. Depends on where you measured. I went with 2.75", but it probably compacted and melted some by the time I got home. I spent the day on the mountain hiking. And at 2000'+ that was every bit true. It was amazing.
  21. Agree. April has felt like April, with the exception of Monday. And Monday was what April should be!
