  1. 53F for the low. Last night was as good as Aug can get.
  2. Yeah, it's doing a great job so far. Prepare yourself for another season of coastal scrapers.
  3. And guess which side we'll be on.
  4. All areas out here will be very soon. I'm surprised it hasn't already happened. This is the worst I've seen. After this next brutal hot, dry stretch coming up this entire valley will be a dust bowl.
  5. I haven't seen rain even close to that intensity even once this year.
  6. Your area sounds eerily similar to mine. We are brothers in drought.
  7. What is maddening is that the pattern works fine 40 miles east and beyond. An area that technically also downslopes.
  8. Picked up .01" in that whopper of a split/skip. Add that to the .10" DOA storm from Friday night, that brings Aug to .51". With no chance again until Thursday - at the earliest, this truly is looking worse than July. June - 2.25" July - 1.41" Aug - .51"
  9. Yeah, this continued pattern is a disaster for us.
  10. Nope. Died on my door step. It literally was like someone turned off the lightning with a switch. It went from strobing to zero just as soon as the first drops began to fall. Amazing. Got some drizzle and light rain and that's it.
  11. Continuous lightning and thunder as the line nears. Let's see if it can hold together and actually rain.
  12. This map is wayyy over done for my area.
  13. Yes. I'm on pace to even eclipse the futility of 1.4" July. It just continues to get worse, day after day.
  14. Lol. More rain for the haves. I've never seen disparity to anything even close to this degree.
  15. All the rain to the north again. Yet another shutout. It has become impossible to rain here.
  16. Aside from the arid conditions, today is as nice a day we'll ever see in August. Overcast, cool breeze. Fantastic.
  17. .34" from the epic severe yesterday and .10" on Thursday. Aug total - .44" Flooding concerns are mounting.
  18. Round 2 here, 30 seconds of moderate rain. Banner day.
  19. Looked like we had a chance for a second. Looked ominous, then it blew through as a big bag of nothing. Lots of thunder, little wind, and nothing but a few minutes of moderate rain....not even downpour. This place is the absolute death of precip.
  20. Can already see the split forming to the SW. Exact same storm motion as all summer long. And the current DP is 77F. As high as I can remember seeing. Will make this failure all the more painful.
  21. Yes. And will be all day, no doubt. Enjoy your storms. Again.
