    Looks like compaction is gonna keep me out of the 6" club. Still snowing but only measuring 5.25 now. Super fluffy stuff gonna compact down overnight. Sheet of ice by tomorrow morning.

    Still a toasty 18.7. Actually not bad with no wind in the hole here.

    So close to 6 but starting to get downsloped a bit. Hopefully we can eek out that last quarter. Been a while since I saw two 6" events in a week.

    5" and still coming down. Seeing more breaks than earlier today. I'd imagine Beech is getting absolutely hammered if this much is making it to me.

    Got stuck coming up the driveway. Got it up on the second attempt LOL Sheet of ice under that snow. I got out and stepped down and slid about 10 feet on foot before getting myself stopped.

    3km NAM is very impressive with the NWFS. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

    Made it to 3.6 this morning which froze up the pipes unfortunately. Did make it out for a cold hike yesterday. Went to Bailey Falls near Erwin, TN. Easily the most dangerous, crazy hike I've done to date but totally worth it.

    Beech is very close to grandfather. Like 10 miles from the Tynecastle intersection. Roan is more of a drive, around an hour or so.

    Definitely Beech and Roan. Beech is easier to access since they keep it plowed for skiers. Roan will probably pull over a foot this weekend. Zionville on the west end of the county does pretty good as well if you wanna avoid the masses on the ski mountain.

    Stayed above freezing which melted some off but temps going into free fall in the last few minutes. Down 2 degrees in the last 10.

    You can tell who bothers plowing. Blowing Rock inside city limits is always a mess. Lived there for a couple years when I first moved up here and they had no clue how to handle the roads.

    6.5" and rates have lightener up enough to switch to light rn/sn mix.

    Just passed 6" looking like potentially double digits before all is said and done with those returns back in TN.

    3" and pouring. Just got to the house after shutting the store down early. Absolutely gorgeous snow.

    Yep temps still falling here back to 33 and dumping. HRRR is definitely hot garbage on temps.

    Temp has stalled at 34.9 at the house. Wife said it is rate dependent. Either moderate snow or drizzle. HRRR had me near 40 this afternoon so we'll see but so far so good.

    Good to get that Erwin report. A buddy and I are looking at hitting some waterfalls out there tomorrow (namely Margaret and Bailey) so was hoping they were gonna stay snow.

    Temp up to 34 but falling again slightly. Heavier rates keeping big fat flakes coming down.

    Temperature spiking up now. Almost 34 as rates have slowed way down.

    Temp holding steady around 30.9/31.1 here. DPs rising a bit with the moderate snow but still coming down good. Rates alone should help keep us snow looking downstream.

    We've actually dropped to 30.5. 28 here at the store in Blowing Rock. HRRR way off... so far. Best rates of the season so far as well. Very pretty snow.

    Light snow with a dusting already. Temp at 31.6 but I am concerned with the warm nose the HRRR stubbornly keeps moving in later today.
