  1. Moderate risk clips the NW mountains. 45% hatched wind risk.
  2. Dreary day here so far. We're getting downsloped pretty badly but picked up just enough rain to keep everything soaked. Only benefit is it's cool.
  3. .35" here today only sitting a tick under 3/4" for the week, majority of that was this morning. We really got left out yesterday afternoon, everyone around us picked up a bunch but we were in a rain hole.
  4. Crisp 52 this morning. Very nice. Seeing some mid-40s on the map in spots even.
  5. Happy 4th folks! First completely dry day in a while here at rhe house, naturally after we just finished up installing new kitchen cabinets.
  6. Got another third of an inch with some hail. First hail of the year here if my memory is right.
  7. Yep. As a side note today might be the worst model initialization/performance I've seen in a while. Nowhere close to reality in storm coverage.
  8. Looking real MCS-ey over the next several days.
  9. Hitting North GA very hard. My parents lost several trees.
  10. That MCS back in TN looks mean. Curious to see how it holds up over the next few hours. Could bring some big storms in this afternoon.
  11. Up to 5.51" here since Monday. Another half inch in that line of showers that just moved through, came down in buckets for a little bit.
  12. Up to 3.69" event total here. Looks like we'll probably get to 5" for the event before all is said and done. Thankfully it's been pretty spread out.
  13. The 3km destroys the northern escarpment. Haven't seen a flow like this in a while. Worth noting it has 30-40mph wind gusts to boot on Tuesday night and is generally very breezy overall. Could have some stout storms tomorrow too.
  14. Picked up just over 1/3" here. Not bad, wasn't enough thunder to wake me up so must've been pretty calm.
  15. 43.7 here. Already up into the mid-70s. Honestly fantastic weather.
  16. Saw Brad Panovich shared a shot of frost up on Sugar. I went up to Grayson today and it did a number on some of the rhododendron.
  17. 40.5 for the low this morning. Boone made it to 38.
  18. Finally started raining here late afternoon and we've picked up a quarter inch. Not bad and definitely needed.
  19. There's some serious downsloping going on with this one. Hasn't rained enough here for my station to pick up even 1/100" yet despite the moisture stream. Even had the sun try to peek through some.
