I stand corrected on this event. It looks like my instinct of a NW trend was wrong. I will commence with eating crickets or whatever gross thing you can think of. I know, I know...pics or it didn't happen.

Yeah that has a lot to do with it. I mean, don't people move to the coast to get away from this LOL? You don't typically say "Hey - I love winter weather so let's plan a beach trip!".

Oh well then, what the hell are we all doing here? Relax everyone! You can stop watching now That's obviously a joke, and to be clear, I never said it would suddenly shift NW to an I-85 jackpot. I just don't believe it will be as far suppressed as currently shown. Yes - that's primarily just anecdotal history. But until I see the cold match the prog, I'm still going to lean toward this becoming at least a little more NW as it plays out.

I will be shocked if it is truly suppressed that much. Could it be? Absolutely. But I personally bet on a trend north 100% of the time, and could probably count on 95% of those bets being right. Obviously it has happened and will again (I believe one of SC's largest ever snows happened in the lowcountry/coastal region). I'm betting the odds regardless.

At this point, I'm just going to trust the ole' saying "In this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes...and a NW result from what models are showing".
