  1. The Sunday Night deal is trending more bullish. Almost looks like a norlun event. I’m wondering if instead of that event and then the Monday night system , we see them trend the next couple of runs into one event more norlun esque .
  2. I hope so but man , 2 days of 50+ is gonna be brutal if it happens like he’s got .We’d be looking green grass and a couple driveway snowbanks. I still think this gets shunted to a degree . Many times they do.
  3. Ryan melted every inch of snow past Maine on his forecast tonight. Brutal with two days of 50’s and winds and dews. Let’s now shunt and trend east into fropa
  4. Frigid in FL while we unwrap in front of hastily installed installs
  5. We all want snow OTG for Xmas. It is such a rarity in today’s world whereas when we were kids they were the norm
  6. It’s gone from worry to anger for everyone. People don’t see any way out or to avoid it.
  7. That’s a massive amount of damaging wind on that run . Wow
  8. I’m so angry thinking about all this deep snow being potentially wiped out, I hope it knocks down every town green Christmas tree in the 6 state region.
  9. If we have to erase snowpack to the Laurentian shelf for Xmas, it sure as hell had better come with massive damage
  10. Monday night has a good chance to snow and accumulate from about NYC north and east .
  11. This is nuts. Let’s watch this all shunt each run here on in
  12. I would likely have to move if my neighbor did that. It would make me too angry . I’d lose it
  13. Yup. Never touch snow until the last flakes have fallen
  14. Yeah and with such significant blocking and -NAO, it’s very difficult to get a strong screamer like they’re saying is coming . Not to say it can’t cut and rain, but you’d likely get some sort of secondary offshore that would keep tenps from going into the 50’s, 60’s. I have a strong suspicion this Xmas Eve deal does not end up a screamer like they’re forecasting here
  15. We posted to folks yesterday to not ignore the NAM. It and Reggie drove that midlevel warmth inland 25-30 miles run after run. When the NAM drills mid level warming north , I always take notice
  16. We’ve got an event to track and most folks have no idea
  17. This was a one in 200 year kind of thing. Most of us don’t experience it. We had Nemo with 30-36” but it was long duration
  18. It’ll be interesting to see what you have OTG in the morning. Grass blades showing from sublimation?
