  1. Yes, but .. the worry and look is it’s starting to show a look mid and especially later month if what we’re in now. That has been my worry all along and now some longer range stuff is starting to show that. I got accused of trolling and my honest to God gut was that exact scenario .
  2. It’ll be 50-55 mph gusts like these events always are. You can put it in the bank. Scattered tree and power line damage. Elevated CT always rips 50-55 mph gusts in these and over 60 in the high end ones. It’s all valley and sea level SE of here so nothing stops the winds as they hit the hills . BOX has a bunch of new mets that don’t understand CT topography
  3. We tried to tell em. They always say meh and then it roars. We know what’s coming
  4. Precisely. Typically what happens in NE is if you lose Dec , you lose the winter. Not always, but usually .
  5. Why must you always babble and bark at the moon?
  6. You probably don’t know but all SNE sites avg a snowfall in Nov of various amounts
  7. We’ve wasted all of Nov. I’m trying to see if we can salvage a few days to a week of December before Sutherland’s mid and late month retorch sets in. Just trying to grab one snowfall .
  8. I recall it was after Dec 5th , then after the 8th. Then overrunning then an ensemble compromise .Now it’s into mid month. At some point something has to change
  9. I’m gone just no melts . The pattern looks abysmal
  10. Close.. but instead of TH, it’s Fox Farm. http://www.foxfarmbeer.com/ What I wouldn’t give for an icestorm like that. Just once in my lifetime
  11. Who remembers this? Why can’t this happen in today’s climate? The great SNE icestorm 1921. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/00221342208984139
  12. Even when it cools off next week it’s still AN. That’s the problem in Dec. Canada has no cold to get in here
  13. Seems like not far enough west to turn NAO neggy . Another gut punch . The worries increase
  14. So two Bomb screamer soueasters that cut waaaay west and then a slight chance of a few snow threats. I guess that’s better than no chance anyway .
  15. If someone was afraid of getting the flu bug Covid. Would opening a window avoid it?
  16. Oh well if you’re one of the scared’s then I see why
