  1. Correct me if I’m wrong .. I’ve noticed in these last couple screamers. The strongest gusts occur when it’s not raining. Not necessarily preceding a heavy downpour. But it seems to rip right after a band of rain has moved thru
  2. Another ramp up coming after 6. Modeled too . Similar to the 15th event. Ahead of that squalline
  3. Exactly what happened here. Was ripping 50-55 mph gusts mid afternoon. Knocked half the town out of power. Then 2 hours of meh. Now it’s ramping up again . Looks like CT goes wild between about 6-9
  4. Just the tip of the iceberg. Really rips in CT between about 4:00-11:00 tonight
  5. Good move. Anyone east of 91 will rip later on . Your area is probably the northern extent
  6. Yeah starting to roar last half hour. Should be wild late afternoon and night
  7. I don’t think that’s fair to insinuate deliberate trolling and/ or ignorance because some folks are concerned about a very brief winter interlude , before return to awful. Especially when they’ve given sound met reasoning. If they’re trolling to troll , that’s one thing. But I’ve posted why I have concerns about a deep winter month after the 8th. And like we’ve said, we hope we are wrong .
  8. Coming in waves. As soon as two dissipate.. three more drop down in tandem. It continues like this for many, many hours . Just on the cape
  9. Can envision 7-10 Tors ripping across the Cape tonight under the cover of darkness. By 6:00 PM, you should be under a king sized mattress in the tub
  10. That BOX has 35-40 is hilarious. Whomever issued that map has no iota of SNE Climo knowledge in these SE screamer events. You can basically draw a line from about SE VT down to BDL or just east down to Madison .anywhere east of that line gusts 50-55 mph with the highest over the shore and elevations. That’s in the normal events which this one is. This looks almost identical to the one on Nov 15th. They didn’t have HWW or even advisories and everyone east of that line gusted 50-60mph prior to the fine line squall line
