    There was a quick gust front initial of maybe 25-30. Then some gusts 30-35 and then one big gust close to 50 with the intense rain . But the big show was the lightning

    I would say it gusted close to 50. There’s a good amount of Oak debris everywhere. But the lightning was the most intense show I have ever seen. There was 3-4 minute period of just blast after blast right on top . It was almost non stop . Sirens are everywhere and the smell of wood is in the air . That was awesome man

    I know you well enough to see that you def have come around to not minding this wx like you did even 10 years ago. You might prefer chilly coc k nights with jackets and pants in summer, but yiu have 100% warmed up to this wx ..You wouldn’t have the guys over today playing shuffleboard, bocce and jarts and Marco Polo in the pool if it was 71 with dews in the 40’s today with a breeze. You enjoy this wx more than you let on , even though it may not be your favorite .

    My dews stayed sky rockets in flight High thankfully here, which typically happens . Currently at 76 off a dew of 79 in the late morning

    Everyone gets there . It’s just a matter of when . You get tired of being cold at night, wearing jackets etc. It’s generally around age 40
