  1. Snow should break out in CT and W MA overnight Monday , and progress NE early Tuesday AM. Probably a school closing day in CT due to the timing. Seems like a solid high end advisory event 3-6” even to the coast .
  2. When you POST your verification vs mine.. please include your map and then a PNS with totals in the post. TIA
  3. My ship is afloat and flags are flying proudly with every sailor drinking beers getting ready for the SB. What is the status of your ship?
  4. Based on what you’ve seen.. what do you think will score the best ? And what was worst?
  5. Buddy of mine down in Hebron south of me has 9”
  6. May not happen but looking out in NY state you can kind of see it
  7. Some of the Meso stuff has a quick hitting band of snow later this evening with the actual cold front . Almost a little squalline
  8. Yeah .And the thing is unless you’re a met or weather geek or someone that lives in the area and understands the Climo , you likely aren’t gonna know to do that. I know it’s even more magnified in ORH county , but I can look at stuff around here and know what needs to be corrected .
  9. It’s always amazing how warm they are and overestimate interior temps. I mean it’s been 27-28 here since it started at 10:30
  10. This is going to be close to that 12/05/12 analog Will and jCT brought up . Amazing similarities
  11. Remember this when looking at snowfall outputs on x “model”
  12. It seems like that one is more Friday into Saturday morning as a general model blend
  13. You are missing my point. There are folks on this board that go 100% with what snowfall maps show . They make forecasts off of them, draw maps to them, get angry when they are too low and elated when they are high. I am saying they need to look at more than silly maps . And if you did that for this .. especially on the higher resolution stuff, they showed the potential . I don’t think the globals did as much
  14. Lol.. I could have sworn you said it was over after 2.7 there
  15. Lol .. not you no. I didn’t mean you. The guilty know who they are. I was bullish on 4-8” statewide based on exactly what you just stated. If one looked past snow maps and looked at fronto and forcing one could see that being signaled the last couple days. I thought the NAM (while having some high outputs) and the HREF mean showed the overall idea the best. These coastals almost always have that . I just think overall it was a pretty poor performance by the globals as a whole. I’m enjoying the beer out of this today!
  16. I’ll kindly disagree . They were the only output showing the heavy Banding farther west. Everything else had SE Mass as ground zero. You even had Mets this morning saying “ take em down” “ we downgrade “ etc. Globals were putrid
