  1. Never ever fails.. when things look bleak Tip finds good things to say.. when things look good he finds ways to ruin everything
  2. I think some folks are getting caught up with snow maps and qpf. You’d think they would have learned after the Dec 17 storm . Bigger amounts always go waaay NW of where the highest zones are on models. I think som people are looking the Euro snow map for example and thinking that’s the only area to get 6-10
  3. Elevation will be vital in this . If you’re looking to Jack. Most I know don’t care
  4. And BOX will go watch for all of interior SNE in the next 12-18 hours
  5. Yeah . It’ll be interesting to see what the dews are tomorrow morning . If they’re 30-31.. Then it’s paste . Mid 20’s. Paste to powder
  6. We sit and spin and MPM days and days . When you see deep easterly inflow at 850 like that in winter.. you see snow
  7. Yup. That narrow strip will be much more widespread clear back to ALB.
  8. This one is as easy as they come. One of the easiest you’ll have all winter
  9. Now he just buys and flips houses every other month in river valley regions
  10. I missed it by 12-18 hours. Was just a bit too early . Snow showers / light snow Tuesday and Wednesday.. so that makes Sunday into Monday and then those two days.
  11. MPM hasnt learned by now that the NNE folks don’t have any interest in SNE.
  12. Yup. Build a solid base with a lot of 6”+ of wet man snow.. keep it just cold enough not to melt and add more over the next week over time
  13. I just hope that the few weenies that still use qpf to live and die with take heed at what the Mets and folks in the know are saying. There will be more qpf than modeled and there won’t be a subby zone like you’d see in a big wound up coastal. This will be a nice widespread 6+ deal. The one concern is coastal areas and BL temps. Hopefully those areas are ok . When these go out south of LI.. most folks win
  14. It’s interesting how all guidance backs light snow into most all of New England Tuesday / Wednesday. Gotta love -NAO. Crazy things happen
  15. Lol. I didn’t understand why he threw that tantrum last night. Wx geeks like as much data as possible typically. Plus those graphics. are not even half as long as a Tip post.
  16. Down to 32.4 here off 34.6 an hour ago.. so you all up north are in good shape as cold drain and secondary helps
  17. Everything looks solid . As Will and other mets said this is a system you toss Qpf. It’s a robust ULL going out under . It’s gonna snow
  18. Nice to see things continued looking good overnight. Solid 6+ for much of SNE and more up North. Should lay down a nice pack. Then see what backs in from the NE Tuesday/ Wed
