  1. Tulips are up and not far from flowering, lilacs have little almost bloom green leaves on them , lawns are quickly greening .. magnolias have blossoms.. there’s a ton of stuff growing well ahead of schedule . At 1k that’s pretty significant for late Morch. The valley is even farther along . They’ll have to mow within 2 weeks with the overall mild pattern continuing
  2. Just let Scoots downplay what overall looks like a mild dry pattern. It’s a rite of spring
  3. This is the time of year I’ve noticed you worry so much about NE winds. Not a concern away from coast. If suns out it’s into the 60’s and cool nights
  4. Furnace coast to coast and up north. Looking good
  5. WTTTE. All they mentioned was payback and poopy
  6. It also ruined the Dec 6 snow. We had 6-7 “ of paste and it stayed OTG right up to the Dec 17th storm. Almost all Dec was deep winter here. And it vanished faster than Ray from the bar at the BWI wx conference
  7. We basically have 2-3 winter months now. Usually always Feb. Some years it’s JAN or DeC. but usually not both . Sucks but it’s real
  8. Ummm when you follow someone on Twitter.. it appears on your feed. You can’t avoid seeing it
  9. The last hour has been rip after rip . Gusting 50-55
  10. That’s omnipresent from spring thru summer though. It’s far enough south it’s a mid Atlantic problem
  11. I see a low way offshore with subsidence over the NE. That would mean sunny days with cool seabreezes there with 50’s while inland it’s cold at night and quickly warms under sun and light NE flow. How does that possibly look bad?
  12. Where’s the cold rainy wx? Easter weekend looks awesome
  13. Saturday thru next Tuesday looks great interior with 60’s and sun. Mild days, cool nights . We take. 2nd best spring ever looks like it will continue.
  14. Another big wind event late Thursday into Friday too. Hunchback gonna have more questions why
  15. Another under performer Wed Nite .. then nada . Maybe this Wiz low topped squall line tonight drops a quick inch . Otherwise Kdxlen in trouble
  16. HWW up for all of interior Mass. Instead of having to upgrade rest of area .. why not just do it now. We did maintain the Wind Advisory across northern CT, RI and eastern MA for wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph. We did mention the low risk for brief gusts up to 60 mph and later shifts will have to monitor for a possible upgrade. Winds this time of year can sometimes over-achieve particularly with lots of sunshine on Monday promoting deep mixing.
  17. Yeah that’s what we’ve been envisioning
  18. Heather delivered your snow. Keep up the good work Len!!
