  1. I have learned how it works. If they don’t have lots of out of state crews in place prior to the storm .. it is a looong , slow restoration. Once you start seeing all the trucks from the south and Midwest, things start happening and it comes back on in a timely fashion . Initially these first few days till they arrive , it will be larger , populated areas first . If you are a smaller town and/or rural .. plan on multiple days . E Mass folks have always wondered why CT and Eversource is so bad the last 10+ years. Now you’ll realize why
  2. Glad you safe and glad you enjoyed! Wish we were there
  3. Based on Oct 2011, Irene and Isaias.. many of you guys in E and SE Mass will be without power 3-8 days . They called in zero out of state crews ahead of time. Trust folks that have been thru it multiple times . Hunker down and prepare for days and days and days of no power. If you get lucky and get it back in 2-3.. that’s a win
  4. 2.25 “ total. Looks like another 1-3” coming Saturday
  5. A 90 year old man talking like that . To someone who has forgotten more than you will ever know. Stick to splitting wood
  6. That cold first 10 days of November vanished faster than Pickles undies on Dilf night. Persistent Gulf of Alaska trough stuck there thru Mid Nov. All Pacific air behind fronts
  7. Actually no it’s not. We’ve been texting all morning. It’s another individual in S CT
  8. Getting some good rips near 50, but still not like I thought. It’s a fail . We lose
  9. I bet you’ll have a few down and an impassable street of poles and lines. Hunker down for long haul
  10. Some of those areas will be out of power , no school etc for several days. That’s a hell of a blow
  11. They’ll likely be home the rest of the week with all that damage
  12. Kudos to you . This was a bust thru and thru by me. A very very bad call. CT virtually unscathed
