  1. Climo on the E MA shore is warmer in summer than interior CT which bakes with no ocean influences?
  2. No one ever said anything like that. You do not live in a warm climate there on the water in E MA. Even in the summer how many days are ruined there by the North Atlantic ? Fortunately we live inland away from it and are looking at a warm week. Enjoy friend! a warm/quasi-stationary front that is expected to be draped somewhere across our CWA. This is rather typical of late April in Southern New England, where the CT valley tends to be located in the warm sector while coastal areas are cooler thanks to onshore flow.
  3. It’s so Karl Marxist / socialistic that it turns your stomach. Thankfully it’s so far out there that there’s about 4% of the population that would even think about it
  4. Overall a late spring/ early summer look in CT. One of the best springs we’ve ever had. Mainly AN and dry
  5. So what do you really think? And you can’t say” it’s a really tough call” with frontal boundary . You wouldn’t publicly air 80 unless you felt very confident . You’re the chief met . It’s your call
  6. So many of the trees / buds started opening in today’s warmth and sun. Fantastic day . Just too windy
  7. Ryan’s got 80 Wednesday AWT! And 72-77 all next week.
  8. Seems like the areas in NNE where all the fires are burning will be the wettest. Showers SNE but Jack’s wagons north
  9. Just think a couple fairly warm days are coming this week. Might not be wire to wire sun , but warmth seems likely
  10. South of the pike will be ok at least 2 of those days.. I’ll also remind the Euro humpers how wet it was this past weekend with a soaker .. and what reality actually was
  11. Wednesday looks like it clears out south of I-90 with a beautiful sunny warm afternoon. Temps 75-82 south of 90. Thursday looks good too until late in the day when the front comes in with a shower. Weekend looks beautiful too
  12. We are burning across the 6 state region.
  13. Rain ended about 20 minutes ago with some brightening now. Should be able to get some breaks in the clouds as we move thru the afternoon
  14. I do admit we got a bit more than I was thinking, so was wrong on amounts by a tenth or so . But there were a bunch of mets and posters talking about a soaking rainfall for the region. That’s usually an inch or more , which we really need . We’ll see if they’re right about a rainy next 384 hours . To me it looks more like a few fropas with showers rather than wet pattern. Hopefully they’re right
  15. You quoted .10 to the pike. What did they get in that area from ORH west ?
