  1. That’s pretty good. We were 8 days in the October 2011 snowstorm and that was awesome
  2. If you think about it. We all already have one with 3-8” in SNE otg now. And there’s several layers of ice in there , and some dense snow. Barring some heinous screamer .. this is the first time in many years that we will have good pack in SNE into the early part of Morch .
  3. Well .. we’ll see how things play out. I am cautiously excited for some for solid ice over a fairly large area. Not like .75+ but enough to cause some fun . I certainly can see how it’s less , but do like the overall look
  4. When they weaken and transfer. They lock in 32 below. Enjoy the ride
  5. What if it keeps weakening and transfers earlier?
  6. It will not get above freezing interior CT with this look . We’ve all seen enough of these to know how they play out
  7. This isn’t that lol . That was a full blown nor’easter . I had no idea. SWey in Se MA furnaced like that
  8. I still vividly recall Mets on this board saying that event 2 years ago would not have much zr and there would not be any power or damage issues. And obviously there were in a small area. I’m not guaranteeing anything. But I will be very surprised if there’s not some significant issues come Monday
  9. With huge winds it will . I never thought it had that much of an impact until I went thru that awesome event
  10. When you get near 1/2” accretion it sure does. Obviously above that is when it goes up even more. What I learned in the zr storm here 2yrs ago though.. is with that amount of ice on trees.. and you rip 50-60 mph wind gusts like we’ll see Monday.. it’s probably going to be a big issue for a fairly large area
  11. I don’t think any models had the cold wedging all day today. A brief fropa spike is coming but they all busted
  12. Hard to argue the king of CT MC Ryan Hammertime
  13. Gfs today had 40’s up north of the pike. Not close to reality
  14. The Mesos like Nams are going to handle this cold much better than the coarse grained GFS. Buyer beware
  15. So was 12z and still cold . Watch that high to the NE
  16. Hammer is all in. Excitement is escalating
  17. This pic doesn’t really do justice to how thick the fog is, but it’s been like this all day after the zr ended mid morning
  18. There’s an odd pocket in this area of 33-34. All afternoon. At one point I dropped back to 32 around 1:00
  19. Fish is all in. Dr. Heatmiser https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1890140134382752059?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
