  1. I stand corrected. I always thought they harmed it. With an Oak forest here blowing is the only option
  2. Which pile is bigger after raking.. the leaves or the dog poop?
  3. Time to spend the money on a blower. You’ll get half your life back
  4. Nah, I’ve had a snowblower for 2 years now. This job doesn’t allow me the time to shovel . I actually don’t miss it
  5. All that acidity is awful for the soil and ph. Never, ever do that. Unless you want a weed lawn…
  6. How is that any different than a lawnmower and a snowblower. Unless you have one of those manual push mower with the blades that chops up the grass that they used in the 50’s.
  7. They are an absolute blessing . I can’t remember the last person I saw anywhere raking their lawn lol. I mean think about it.. A 16 pronged plastic rake piling up hundreds of thousands of leaves.. wet .. sticks and acorns gumming it up . Drop the $400 and get a blower
  8. As a kid.. I raked . Thankfully in this era . Backpack leaf blowers and blowers on wheels have replaced rakes. I can’t imagine why anyone would rake leaves by choice in 2021
  9. You only have white pines.. so for you it doesn’t really matter
  10. It’s going to prolong leaf cleanups up to and likely past T-giving . Last year we were done about Nov 10
  11. 75-80 all next week . Endless summer right thru Helloween
  12. I’d have to go back and look , but I think I may have just clipped him. Was that the year we had those 2 Napril south of pike snows?
  13. Dude. In the pitch black early morning ..as they pelt off roofs and cars .. it sounds like gunshots . I just Bob and weave
  14. I was thinking.500 so your sick steel trap memory is absolutely dead nuts on lol you sicko . Some years his latitude takes the cake . But elevation is also key in some years. I would still always choose higher elevation over latitude (in general in SNE) . I think his current location in Metheun is not great as compared to where he used to live in Wilmington
