  1. The 3.5” glacier survived and we had 2.5” last night . Everything is gonna be a block of ice later today .. if we get light snow this evening to cover the roads.. it’ll be a sheet
  2. Those 50+ gusts between 4-6:00 knocked all kinds of crap down
  3. Let’s get this CAA cranking out of the SW in SNE and flip back to snow with ULL. Looks like maybe mid afternoon to early evening for another .5-1”
  4. Doesn’t look like much other than flurries unfortunately
  5. Planning on total green grass and complete wipeout . Just the tenor of how things went today
  6. Ray has me at under an inch . Fitting way to end this Godforsaken day
  7. Ensembles are all a miss They also were with tonight’s storm. So if you want to hold out hope.. there’s that
  8. Your posts have been very confident in every facet . Like you know what’s going to happen
  9. Looks like the high tries to hold on a bit longer. Similar that the HRRR has had all day .
  10. Yes that happens . Especially Union I’ve seen that . But there’s never elevation events that we get 3” and they get a foot . I’ve had 2-4” as the forecast for our area. I suppose if these colder trends continue, maybe we could eek out 5”, but that’s the ceiling . Maybe an inch of fluff tomorrow nite with the upper trough.
  11. Everything has gone right to Euro . It’s been the coldest run after run after run and it’s looking like it had the right idea .
  12. I can think of a bunch of examples over the years like this where IJD hits 48 or something and it stays in the upper 30’s here. I’m not ruling anything out, but I have been skeptical of hours of 40’s. That period of snow tomorrow night has been showing up on most models for a couple days. Probably a lot .5 -1” stuff as it moves thru
  13. I’m still skeptical of 40’s all day . Could happen, but I’ve lived here long enough to know sometimes the “relative” cold holds the torch at bay in SE CT. I’m thinking a few hours of 35-40 then drop late day . How strong do you think winds will be in your area?
  14. Yeah that’s what I issued yesterday for last call .. 2-4” . If I can keep an inch or two new on top of the 3.5” glacier OTG now, I’ll consider that ok
