  1. You wonder if the modeling are on the right track with the low level cold push and frigid surface temps , but not warm enough at midlevels. Maybe they snap the midlevel warmth up vs just frigid entire column. We’ll see what the Euro does.
  2. You’ve definitely changed! I love it
  3. I’m wondering if this doesn’t turn into a sleet fest for much of SNE and zr threat is more SCT? I’d prefer the zr here, but this has that look to me .
  4. Full snowpack here since Jan 7th. Very difficult to do in SNE in La Ninas . My pack fetish has been satisfied this month along with frequent snowfalls
  5. I’m sure there’s been times, but I cannot recall a storm like this that went from rain to heavy icing. We’ve seen rain to sleet obviously, but I just don’t remember any that stayed as zr after starting as rain
  6. From 1 person . And the strange thing was they usually don’t have that kind of bad behavior. Something may have happened
  7. Appreciate that man. The nonsense yesterday that continued today was absurd.
  8. Just a hell of an interior SNE icestorm . 5 days out an eternity
  9. Look at that HP. How can the Euro cut into that beast?
  10. Would love that icestorm here. Please happen
  11. They’ve dumped enough salt this month to start a beach. They are lunatics with salt because of the hills . Thankfully CT did away with sand crap 5 years ago. God did I hate that stuff. It’s a relatively shady neighborhood too. That one sunny area is at the very top of the hill . Probably the only area that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon. This was about 8:00 this morning after I did the driveway.
  12. Yeah op def the outlier in the Euro suite . 6 days to go . Nothing will change
  13. Man.. I love driving thru the hood when the banks get this big. Haven’t had any close to this since 2018.. and maybe 2015 .
  14. Huge snower and pack to huge cutter / screamer rains to Maines. I know this doesn’t show that , but if there starts to be ensembles support it’s a big worry
  15. Shades of 96 that run. Doubtful given the EPS didn’t support anything like that, but southern systems always make you worry
  16. I know there’s been a few.. but it seems like SNE Icestorms in Feb are fairly infrequent. The bigger ones seem to be earlier in the season . Late Nov- into Jan . Of course there was one in Napril in CT a few years ago.
